Juniors

We have a thriving junior programme offering opportunities for all levels and ages. Please read the different sections below and have a look at the attached pop-up to see the progression through the squad structure.
Mini Tennis Drop-in Every Saturday
Every Saturday morning we run drop-in sessions at Kings LTC. The first is from 9.30 – 10.30am this session is aimed children who have not played before and would just like to try. The second session is from 10.30– 11.30 for more experienced players who like to have organised game based sessions.
We have a large following of parents who come to the tennis club on a Saturday and watch their children play and have a coffee at the same time. If you have not been down before you will be made welcome.
Development Tennis Sessions
As a Mini-Tennis Accredited Club, we run our development sessions along the LTA guidelines.
All the development sessions are run during the six school terms and each term has six sessions. All the groups that are run throughout the terms are separated by age and ability. These are not drop-in, but invitational groups so for more information please do not hesitate to contact me at the club on 0117 9427667 or email me info@scottdobsontennis.co.uk
Performance Tennis Sessions
Working along side the development programme we have a performance programme aimed at players who show an aptitude for the game and also are prepared to put some extra hours into their tennis. We expect these players to play outside their organised tennis sessions each week and become involved in competitions (both within the club and externally).
Are you a member of the LTA? All players in the squads should be members of the LTA ‘Its Free too’ and also have a rating and/or ranking. If you are not a member please follow the link below download the form and return to the LTA.

If you haven’t got a ranking then please contact Scott or members of the team who will be able to help you.
Elite Programme
This programme was set up in 2006 to personalise in more detail the programme of the best players in the performance programme. Players are contracted onto the programme on a yearly basis, where their coaching and trips to tournaments will be subsidised. Their programmes will be tailored to their specific needs.
